Leisa Brett MAAT has worked in the accountancy industry since 2014, working in a large firm of accountants, as well as in house with various sized businesses with turnover of £50,000 to £8,000,000, managing the running of finance departments and supporting directors with monitoring and increasing profits, setting financial plans, providing advice on tax and dividend planning and forecasting cash flow.

Working in a large accountancy firm gave the Leisa the insight of what she didn’t want to do – she didn’t want to only see her client’s once a year, tell them how much tax they owe and talk accountancy jargon. She wanted to support her clients year round, helping them plan ahead and to help them understand complex areas in a simple way.

Leisa understands that tax and accounts can be daunting to people who need to know, with a warm approach and welcoming all queries with patience and understanding Leisa supports directors / business owners in breaking down the complicated stuff, suggesting improvements and efficiencies.
